Gucci’s latest NFT release, Otherside Relic, has made its debut with the KodaPendant.
This limited-edition pendant pays tribute to the roots of Otherside, and holders of Vessel and Koda NFTs can purchase a digital metadata update that includes a Gucci physical necklace.
The pendant trait will be permanently added to the NFTs after purchase. Get ready to own a piece of digital and physical Gucci jewelry on April 6th.
The large retailer and Yuga Labs, the Web3 company behind popular NFT collections such as Bored Ape Yacht Club, Cryptopunks, Mebits, and Narrative NFT Project 10KTF, announced a multi-year partnership on March 27.
Gucci and 10KTF collaborated on the Gucci Grill initiative last year. Wagami-san, the “digital artisan” of 10KTF, used to customize NFTs with artwork created by Alessandro Michele, the former creative director of Gucci. Therefore, this is not Gucci’s first foray into the NFT and metaverse worlds.
In 2021, Yuga Labs created the Bored App Yacht Club. It became one of the most popular NFT products very rapidly. Later, the business acquired the rights to 10KTF, Mebits, and Cryptopunks. In March of last year, it raised $450 million at a valuation of $4 billion.
