Beatles Legend Ringo Starr releases his first NFT series

With his first NFT series, Beatles legend Ringo Starr is becoming the initial Beatles to enter the NFT space. According to reports, the five artworks in this series are Galaxy One, Galaxy Two, Bandana Man, Starr Art, and Crash.

Next month, the 81-year-old Beatles drummer will sell his digital artwork in an online auction. In addition, the name of the series is “Ringo Starr NFT Collection – The Creative Mind of a Beatle”.

Additionally, he has planed the auction on June 13, with five different NFTs (four of each set) for sale. Actually, Julien’s Auctions is hosting the event, and enthusiasts can bid on the artworks beginning from $1,000.

As stated by Darren Julien, CEO of Jolins Auctions, Sir Ringo Starr was a “creative auction legend.”

Meantime, the NFTs will feature animated artwork and a “custom drum composition recorded and played” by Ringo Starr himself. Also, fans who buy the NFTs will get 25-inch x 25-inch canvas prints signed by the Beatles drummer.

Besides, part of the income from Ringo Starr’s NFT series will go to his charity, the Lotus Foundation. In short, it is an organization which backs projects to improve social welfare and public health in different regions.

“I just wanted to be a drummer, but you never know where a new idea or way will conduct you,” Ringo Starr stated.

“I was so inspired by this new tech and I wanted to create these NFTs by combining my art and my music. Who would have thought that I would publish Peace and Love in MetaVerse.”
