Web3 company Arianee’s CEO claimed Big Brands Need ‘a Better NFT’

Arianee, a company that deals with Web3 infrastructure, is currently working on providing brands such as Lacoste and Panerai with the capability to generate an improved NFT.

Pierre Nicolas Hurstel, the CEO of Arianee, said that a superior NFT is the core of our work. “We’ve taken the standard of ERC-721 and we’ve super packed it with six smart contracts on top. Allowing anyone, any brand, any developer to create an NFT that is natively dynamic and CRM [Customer Relationship Management] ready.”

Arianee is a solution that allows brands to create NFTs without requiring advanced technical skills. It is a white-label solution.

NFTs that are dynamic have the ability to change due to a membership reward or a real-world event. Hurstel mentioned that the “time stamping feature” can be obtained using “easy APIs” that are familiar to both Web2 and Web3 users.

So, like, if you own an NFT, the issuer can message you directly to let you know about any news or upcoming drops related to the collection.

“For example, I have the Genius NFT from Moncler because I went to the Genius launch in London,” he told Decrypt. “Yesterday, I received in my wallet a notification with a token-gated link giving me access within 72 hours to the next drop of their Genius collection with Fragment.”

Dynamic NFTs allow issuers to engage with their collectors in a novel manner. We can use an NFT that evolves over time or send notifications within the wallet.

Regarding Customer Relationship Management [CRM], Arianee provides NFT issuers with the ability to conceal NFT information, which is a useful feature. The Arianee CEO gave an example to Decrypt about hiding the ownership of an expensive physical watch, citing security concerns.

Enabling users to conceal the content of an NFT enhances privacy in a highly transparent environment. Hurstel said that in Web3, CRM might involve companies scrutinizing people’s wallets before inundating them with spam. He stressed that this would be more detrimental than Web2’s cookie system.

“We have a list of features like that, I could continue because it’s pretty rich. You could make your NFT non-transferrable and make it soulbound,” the Arianee CEO said. “All of these features are natively integrated within this protocol.”

Soulbound is an NFT type that is one-of-a-kind and cannot be transferred. It can also be utilized to exchange important credentials or accomplishments related to an individual’s profession.

According to Hurstel, Arianee created 1.5 million NFTs and gave them to over 50 brands last year. The NFTs included digital passports, dynamic membership cards, and digital collectibles.

Hurstel said, “Really what we are looking at doing is onboarding the next million people. Allowing hundreds of brands to distribute millions of NFTs as their new consumer engagement tool.”
