NFTCulture Daily Update

Welcome back NFTculture readers! As we’ve previously reported, the NFT market has been experiencing a slow down as people wait for the next wave of innovation in the space. However, that hasn’t stopped NFT creators and enthusiasts from pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with digital art and technology.

  • Do Kwon, the Terraform Labs co-founder responsible for LUNA and the algorithmic stablecoin UST, has been arrested in Montenegro.
  • The Arbitrum website crashed as many users attempted to claim their airdrop, which traded as low as $1.1 yesterday but has risen to approximately $1.5.
  • The SEC has issued an investor alert relating to cryptocurrencies, warning investors of their exceptional volatility and speculative nature.
  • Ledger has announced user access to NFT Pinning services, which will increase the availability of NFTs on IPFS and reduce reliance on metadata being saved on private servers.
  • RENGA, a popular NFT project, is teasing a racing video on their social media channels, leading to speculation about a possible racing video game or the project’s involvement in the world of racing.
  • The Otherside Metaverse is back with the “Second Trip,” which will allow a broader range of players to experience the metaverse for approximately 90 minutes.
  • To participate in the Second Trip, you must be an Otherdeed NFT holder or have a guest code. The event will start at noon ET tomorrow, but the Infinity Space (the game lobby) will open at 11:30 a.m. ET.
  • The First Trip was a massive success, with approximately 4,500 Otherdeed holders exploring Yuga Labs’ creation.
