Yesports Introduces NFT-Based Membership to More Than 30 Million Esports Fans

Yesports has made a membership program for eSports fans based on tokens that can’t be exchanged for other things (NFT). The esports fan engagement platform released its platform-as-a-service business-to-business solution on Thursday. The platform lets esports fans get to Web3 by using NFT technology.

In the world of sports, memberships based on NFTs are not new. Real-world sports like soccer, where Socios is still the market leader, use them a lot.

Also, soccer teams have teamed up with Web3 platforms to set up their own NFT-based options that offer the same benefits as memberships. Most recently, Sorare joined forces with AC Milan of Serie A to add to its growing list of partnerships.

Yesports, on the other hand, focuses on an unusual part of the sports industry. In the last ten years, esports have become more popular, and teams have adopted the franchise business model, which is based more on sponsorships than on money from games.

Still, because the industry is growing so quickly, companies are looking for ways to make money off of their audience. This idea seems to have come at the right time, since NFTs are new and have been quickly accepted by the public.

Yesports has already added 10 teams and players to its platform, including INFINITY, Renegades, Staff Empire, and BOOM Esports. The company says this will help bring over 30 million esports fans into web3.

The corporation’s platform will let organizations use exclusive NFT-based membership plans to get fans to interact with them more, which will make them more money.

Active users of the platform, led by Talon Esports and its Environment of Valor (RoV) team, have already said nice things about it. The franchises can give their fans special perks, like the chance to work with their favorite esports teams and buy products and other things that don’t cost money.

“VIP entry to esports occasions, expense-paid journeys, unique NFT drops, signed merchandise, personal discord entry and AMAs, social media shout-outs, and rather more.” are some of the other unique benefits that members get.

Followers can choose their level of membership, which ranges from Gold to Diamond and gives them different levels of access and benefits.

Sean Zhang, who is the CEO and co-founder of Talon Esports, said, “Yesports has given us ready-made instruments and a revolutionary framework to convey Web3 performance to our viewers, unlocking unrivalled engagement and direct-to-consumer advantages. NFT membership will assist us create new income streams whereas solidifying current ones and ship new methods for followers to point out their help and loyalty.”

On the other hand, Sebastian Quinn, founder and CEO of Yesports, said, “NFT membership offers a revolutionary growth for esports that has the potential to be a game-changer for fan engagement and group revenue.”
