Gary Vee’s flagship Web3 effort, his very personal VeeFriends NFT challenge, has raised $50 M in a present round of funding led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). The new cash injection will primarily be used to help VeeFriends’ IP 283 character event, however, the cash may also be used to scale VeeFriends’ inventive, technical, and experimental operations.
At this time, it has not been revealed if there were other members within the spherical, or if a16z were the only contributors. Speaking about the spherical, Chris Lyons, a regular companion at a16z said:

In supporting the challenge using its monetary power, a16z joins a lengthy checklist of prominent names that have additionally put the NFT challenge on paper.
