AI Fashion and the Fashion Metaverse

The next supreme being could be someone who runs in space.
Have the Decentraland wearables made you want more for your metaverse wardrobe than just crypto company logos on sweatshirts and t-shirts? Space Runners is the first NFT metaverse trend model and the most complete trend mission on blockchain. Its main goals are design and portability (to any metaverse of your selecting).

The company was started in a smart way by Won Soh, a former McKinsey marketing expert, and Deniz zgür last year. They took advantage of the tradition of shoes by working with NBA players to give owners things like tickets to sporting events and autographed items. This year, thanks in part to a large amount of investment led by Polychain and Pantera Capital, the goal is to expand both physical and digital clothing options (home fits!) and make the metaverse the go-to market for fashion brands by creating immersive online shopping experiences.

Rohan Chhabra, who used to work for Nike and Ralph Lauren, says that “is always so excited because metaverse designs are limitless. You’re no longer bounded by physics.” Soh says that “Some of the wearables we’re currently designing for our second- and third-generation collections, like our rocket-booster sneakers, are designed to fly. Others transform into pets.”

The Wunderkind is reusing Jurassic technology

Tega Akinola, who lives in the UK, was a recent college graduate during the pandemic, and she didn’t know what her job prospects would be in the near future. But in the last year, the recycled items she’s come up with—mostly made from old electronics and made at home with the help of her seamstress mother—have given the unlikely designer (she studied sports and exercise psychology) a full-time job. Akinola says, “I wasn’t consciously thinking about sustainability, Upcycling was something I had to do, because I didn’t have money to buy new things.” Some of her earliest and most difficult designs were a bucket hat and a pair of shoes with block heels made from old cables.

They were seen by the founders of APOC Store, Ying Suen and Jules Volleberg, who was also her main teacher. Instagram has been flooded with requests for personalized products, and the Swedish singer Snoh Aalegra likes the luggage that Akinola makes out of used fleece clothes with the logos still on them. Since many of Akinola’s raw materials come from companies like Nike and Patagonia that care about sustainability, and since she is interested in sports, a partnership makes sense.
