NFT Sales by Azuki Developing Weakness
Azuki is a well-known NFT collection from the anime that came out of nowhere and beat the Saiyans like Goku, Trunks, and others. It has 10,000 different letters and numbers. It has become one of the best collections on the market since it first came out. Many people thought that this online collection might do better than channels like BAYC.
The anime style collection lets you get to “The Garden.” People say that it is a place on the internet where art, culture, and community come together to make magic. When the collections first came out, there was a big jump in the number of items sold. Azuki #9605 is still the NFT with the most money made from it. It was sold for 420.7 Ethereum ($1.4 million) at the time.
But it looks like sales of the collection are going down. At one time, the channel showed The Sandbox, NBA Top Shot, Bored Ape Kennel Club, and Axie Infinity. In January 2021, the amount of money traded in Azuki collection was $219.08 Million. By June, that number had dropped to $12.06 Million, which is a loss of about $207 Million.
Less transactions and unique buyers of the collection are still the main reason for this big drop. In January 2021, there were 9,123 different buyers and 18,012 transactions. By June 2021, there were only 563 different buyers and 837 transactions.
The Twin Tiger Azuki Jacket
Recently, the Azuki project decided to give its holders an experience that goes from digital to physical. The group said that they are going to show off their real Twin Tiger jackets. It is based on the style of the 1940s and mixes the street culture of the United States and Japan. The in-house tailor Takeda made all 10,000 pieces in the collection for this project.
The NFT sector is a great place for both artists and organizations to do well. Artists can make money by selling their work. The Beeple’s Everydays NFT, for instance, was sold for $69.3 Million. By making NFTs, organizations can advertise, provide services, and do more. For example, Prada made oversized NFT shirts that were only available in a small number of actual pieces.
