KATATONIK is a 9999-piece NFT collection that will be hosted on the Ethereum blockchain. On July 22, 2022, you will be able to buy the collection. It is made by well-known artists at DreamWorks who have worked on movies like Kung-Fu Panda and the much-anticipated The Bad Guys. Time to get together with other pioneers who “get it,” etaverse. LIRON TOPAZ and JP SANS came up with the idea for the project.
About Liron Topaz
LIRON TOPAZ is one of the artists working on the project. Liron is a Director, a Supervising Animator, and the Chair of the Animation Department at Dreamworks Animation, which is one of the biggest studios in Hollywood and has made movies like How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, The Croods, and a lot of other classics. He is also in charge of the long-term technical goals of the animation department.
Liron has wanted to be an animator ever since he was a little boy. “When I was in kindergarten, I asked my teacher, “What do you call the person who makes cartoons?” I was six years old. Since then, everything has been very planned. He says, “All I wanted to know was how animated movies are made and how I can get there.”
He got the Presidents’ Award for his thesis film at the world-famous Ringling School of Art + Design in Florida, where he graduated with honors. He was one of three students chosen by the American Film Academy to do an internship at Sony Studios, which is also a big name in animation.
Liron’s first job was as a Character Animator on Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, which he did at Sony Imageworks. Later, he went to work for DreamWorks Animation, where he worked on projects like Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Croods, which became very popular. He was in charge of the turtle Master Oogway, the dangerous dragons called Deathgrippers, and a cute prehistoric girl named Dawn.
The highly regarded Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France chose “Bilby,” a short animated film written and directed by Liron, JP Sans, and Pierre Perifel, all of whom work at DreamWorks. “Bilby” was the closing film. The movie was nominated for an Academy Award and won the Jury Award at the Siggraph Electronic Theater.
Liron just finished his job as Supervising Animator on the much-anticipated new DreamWorks movie The Bad Guys, which will be in theaters this April. He is now excited to check out the new NFT space, where he will bring the same groundbreaking creative energy that has helped him move up in his career.
The idea behind Neko was to make people feel something. Visionary artists, creative wizards, and mad scientists at Neko Productions work hard to make dreams come true.
Sega, Hulu, Facebook, The Avengers, Harry Potter, The Tunies, Universal Music, and the Steven Spielberg Foundation are all clients and projects they have worked on.
About production team
The Neko team has a lot of experience, is creative, has a lot of passion, and can be counted on to make the best product possible. People want to work with someone they can depend on and trust to get the job done. This is what the Neko “family” is all about. Once upon a time, kats lived like any other cat. Scratching posts, sniffing catnip, and watching apes will always be boring. They became SEROZENSE because of the world, but they knew their time would come. Where though?
After wandering around aimlessly for hundreds of years, the kats finally found peace in the Metaverse, which is the only place that makes sense. What do they want to do? Make a pawsome community that is unlike anything else in the digital world. Now, they want to show the whole world what a wonderful place the metaverse is. After making the change to the metaverse, it’s time to find other pioneers who “get it.”
About JP SANS
JP Sans is the Head of Animation at DreamWorks Animation. He is also the Animation Director. He started his career at Blue Sky Studios, where he worked on the “Ice Age” movies and “Rio,” in which he voiced Luiz, the bulldog. He then became an animator at DreamWorks Animation, where he worked on “Rise of the Guardians” and “Trolls 2.” He worked with Liron on the short film “Bilby,” and now he is the Head of Character Animation on the upcoming Dreamworks movie “Bad Guys.”
“For me, it definitely started with drawing at a very early age, from the moment I picked up a crayon. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and like every other kid, I watched a lot of cartoons and animated movies, but I always thought it was “magic” rather than something that was made. It was when I was seven that I realized, thanks to my mom, that the credits were the names of artists who worked on the movies. Since then I knew I wanted to be part of that world, somehow. As I grew older, I took as many drawing classes as I could. In high school, I continued to take all the drawing classes available as well as some acting classes. I doubt I was any good at acting, but I really liked the idea of performing and becoming a new personality and character, which only strengthened my pursuit of animation. I continued my studies at the Miami International University of Art and Design. Once I began my studies there, I only feel more deeply in love with animation. As I started creating life and making characters think, I knew it was the stamp of approval indicating how I never wanted to do anything else with my life,” said JP SANS.
If you understand this, you might be cool enough to hang out with the cool kids. But only if you want to build a strong, funny, exciting, and NEW community for the next generation… Before putting money into any NFT project, it’s important to DYOR (do your own research). The first thing you should do is check out KATATONIK’s website and social media accounts to learn more about what the project does and what it wants to do. Ask the team and other community members questions to see if they know what they are talking about and can keep their promises. In general, don’t just blindly follow someone else’s advice about whether or not to invest in an NFT project.
