People are paying a lot of attention to the release of the Americans NFT, a set of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The Americans NFT is a collection of 10,000 pieces that will be given away for free on the Ethereum blockchain. Several things lead up to the eagerly awaited launch. This time, the momentum is different from a typical “hot drop,” so here’s what happens:
The design of American NFTs was based on the popular collectibles called CryptoPunks. People say that the collection was put together by the people who made a famous NFT collection that hasn’t been shown to the public yet. Several things seem to be adding to the momentum: (1) unique and creative art like Cryptopunks, which is a billion-dollar business, and, most importantly, (2) a lot of support from Americans and patriotism, along with (3) free mints and the NFT degen meta.
As the number of all American native collectors grows, the Americans NFT is helping “The Saudis,” a collection whose sales have topped 6,700 ETH (about $7.7 million) since it came out, reach new heights.
The collection starts out as a free mint, which means that the first NFT is free and the next one costs 0.03 ETH. Long-term goals of the project include making the $Americans Token, a Senate DAO with voting rights and shared revenue, and “State ownership” in the form of land that is “airdropped” to token holders.
When influential person Kevin Susanto found them, they almost immediately got over 15,000 new followers. Kevin Susanto is one of the most well-known NFT professors with over 220,000 Twitter followers. On Friday, July 15, at 1:00 p.m. EDT, the American NFTs will be given out.
