Consulting company KPMG is the most big recent company to access the world of the metaverse. It is new digital “cooperation center” helps clients improve strategies in the Web3 space.
The hub is stated to provide a private place for employees, partners, and customers to hold virtual team meetings, cooperate, and share new ideas and concepts. This technology will involve virtual whiteboards and appealing virtual experiences.
A KPMG spokesperson told Blockworks that employees can use the hub to lead interviews, training sessions, employee valuation, and demonstrations of KPMG’s capabilities.
Teams within the hub have been formed to support customers related to metaverse design, cryptocurrencies, NFT use cases, community engagement, and more general Web3 integrations as well.
KPMG is a global network of firms which provide audit, tax, and advisory services. In 2021, the company revealed revenue of $32 billion. Its headquarters is based in the Netherlands.
The news comes following the Canadian branch of KPMG lately reported that it had added Bitcoin and ETH to its firm’s coffers. Besides, it bought a well-known World of Women NFT in February the current year.
Countless businesses are entering the Metaverse
The metaverse , a shared augmented and virtual worlds, is predicted by some to be the future of the Internet and numerous people in “high places” are paying attention. Even as the crypto market continues to bear down, metaverse continues to attract investment from many companies, brands, celebrities, and countries too.

If KPMG’s metaverse moves will prove popular with its staff and clients remains to be seen. But one thing is sure: companies will keep on to invest and push the limits of what can be performed in Web3 and the metaverse.
