Facebook tends to try out polygon NFTs and Ethereum on profiles

Meta, which used to be called Facebook, has begun rolling out NFTs for some American producers on its main social network.

In the beginning, Facebook will only support NFTs on Ethereum and Polygon, according to an email from a Meta employee to Decrypt. But soon, Facebook will also support NFTs on Solana and Flow.

Meta Product Manager Navdeep Singh gave a sneak peek of how NFTs would look on Facebook in a tweet on Wednesday. The article says that users’ Facebook profiles will have a “digital collectibles” section where they can show off their NFTs, which are special blockchain tokens that show ownership.

Users will be able to connect their Bitcoin wallets to their Facebook accounts. They will also be able to turn their NFTs into Facebook posts, which can be shared, liked, commented on, and replied to just like any other post.

A tech and media expert named Martin Bryant said that Meta’s statement “clearly means to give a home to Web3 people” because the company has just started testing changes to Facebook Groups that would make them “more like Discord.”
