Prominent online art gallery Saatchi Art has declared Visions of the Future – a jury-curated collection and auction of NFT photography.
The auction will show 50 fine art photographers and happen in August 2022. The program is the gallery’s another important effort in the NFT area up to now.
Visions of the Future pursues on from Saatchi Art’s first NFT exhibition, The Other Avatars. Considerably that early NFT exhibition, showing handcrafted art from 154 different artists, traded in 20 minutes.
Presently the gallery is peeking into a modern collection of artists to investigate this new topic. In importance, the new collection and auction will show endeavours by artists that investigate various hypotheses of the future.
The concession time for photographers began on June 20th and proceeds until July 25th. After that, there may be a week’s curation time. Eventually, the auction preview for The Other Avatars NFT owners is to happen right before the social auction happening in August.
Capucine Jenkins, Senior Manager of Digital Art and NFTs at Saatchi Art, uttered about the significance of artists in periods of transformation.
“Artists have always been at the forefront of cultural and technological shifts,” she announced, clarifying why Saatchi Art liked to give prominence to this work.
to curate the choice of NFT photography, Saatchi Art sums up a jury of world-class creatives and idea managers. Not just from the fine art photography area but also NFTs. Jointly, this jury was assigned tasks by 50 artists for the auction. Jury members are:
