In partnership with The Crypt Gallery, Dream Downtown, a high-end lifestyle boutique hotel known for its great nightlife and restaurants, will host New York City’s first and only physical NFT art show in a hotel setting on Monday, June 20. More than 70 digital displays are set up in the hotel’s main lobby areas and Swing Room, making it one of the largest permanent NFT galleries to date. The Crypt Gallery at Dream Downtown is a new place to find some of the best-known digital artists in the world, as well as up-and-coming artists, established collectors, and important community projects. It’s open all the time and always has new things to see.
The first time Dream Hotels and The Crypt Gallery worked together was in Los Angeles. In July 2021, the first physical NFT art show was held at Dream Hollywood. King of Midtown, an art collector from New York who created The Crypt Gallery and was a pioneer in NFT, came up with the idea of connecting the physical with the metaphysical, of creating real-life experiences and relationships, and of making unforgettable moments when buying or exhibiting digital art.
Since its start in 2021, Dream Hollywood has worked with The Crypt Gallery to put on a number of events and activities. These have included live art drops, community gatherings, and visits from celebrities like Ice Cube and Liam Payne. The new NFT art display at Dream Downtown builds on the success of the brand’s previous collaboration and shows that Dream Hotel is committed to innovative design and creativity.
The Crypt Gallery and SuperRare, a first-of-its-kind marketplace for unique, curated NFT artworks, worked together to throw a two-day launch party, which was one of the most important NFT.NYC events of the week. During the NFT.NYC event week, more than 60 of the best-selling and most skilled artists in the world will be shown. On June 20th and 21st, famous NFT artists Six n Five, Vhils, DotPigeon, Nessgraphics, and Archan Nair are scheduled to attend the two-day launch party.
Chevrolet announced their move into the Web3 world by having Xsullo create an NFT piece inspired by the Corvette Z06 that will be auctioned on SuperRare and shown at the Crypt Gallery in Dream City. The focus of the gallery is to bring the digital marketplace to life. It has information about the artist and the project, as well as original artwork and live bidding. The auction winner will get both a digital NFT from Own the Color and a real one-of-a-kind Corvette. The money made from the event will go to DonorsChoose, a nonprofit that helps public school teachers pay for STEM education and classroom materials.
The two-day launch event will include the famous Vandal Gummy statue by Whisbe, live art performances by legendary comic artists Rob Prior and Ryan Benjamin, professional cartoonists from Marvel and DC Comics, and a special appearance by Nadya from Pussy Riot.

The Crypt Gallery at Dream Downtown is one of the many tech-forward projects that the brand is working on. It uses current trends and interests to give its customers one-of-a-kind experiences. Dream Hollywood will announce the start of its Social Club membership program on June 24. The program will combine real-world activations with Metaverse events made by the famous 3D artist Perry Cooper and will only be available through NFT. The Qatari Dream Doha Hotel, which is about to open, will offer similar membership plans later this year.
The Dream Downtown Crypt Gallery will stay open until 2023.
