An Inside Look at FVCKRENDER’s NFT.NYC Project

June 23, was the last full day of celebrations in NYC. This week-long party for all things NFTs is coming to an end. In the last few days, there have been a lot of IRL events, activations, and art installations all over the city to celebrate one of the biggest NFT events of the year.

One of the galleries hosted by NFT.NYC is LVCIDIA by FVCKRENDER, which is in Studio 525 in Manhattan. The artist’s LVCIDIA project will be shown live and in person at the three-day RSVP and holder-only gallery event. Launched as an online art exploration experience, LVCIDIA is an interactive way for art lovers and collectors to enter a colorful world that looks like it came from outer space.

During the day, people can look around the gallery and see how FVCKRENDER’s art comes to life with the help of HD projectors, lighting effects, merchandise, and even physical copies of some of his most popular works. At 6 p.m., the galleries are turned into full-fledged places for concerts.

During Steve Aoki’s DJ set on the first day of after-hours parties at the gallery, the NYPD threatened to shut down the event because it was too crowded. On day two, the LVCIDIA team was able to move to a new place where Tokimonsta would play music for the night. The gallery will close at the end of the day today. We’ll see if FVCKRENDER has more surprises for fans in store.
