A recent CashNetUSA study found that in 112 countries, Axie Infinity is the most popular NFT community.
Montenegro was found to be the country that liked NFTs the most, while Poland was found to be the country that disliked NFTs the most. On the other hand, Singapore is the country that is most interested in NFTs.
The results came from looking at how people use Google and how they feel about things on Twitter.
Axie Infinity is getting more and more popular
Data from North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Oceania, and Africa show that Axie Infinity is the NFT community that people search for the most.
People in places other than North America and Africa aren’t too interested in the Decentraland because of Axie Infinity. Any way you look at it, Axie is the clear winner in each of these categories.
In Google’s search results for North America, Decentraland comes out on top. Even though it controls most of the land, Axie Infinity, Sorare, and Bored Apes still have a small number of people in the southern cities.
In terms of NFT curiosity, Africa is the only place where there is no clear winner. The four nations are called Decentraland, Axie Infinity, Sorare, and Bored Apes. Town Star can also take control of a small part of Africa.
South America, on the other hand, is the only place that isn’t interested in Decentraland, Bored Apes, or other similar projects. Axie Infinity is in charge of the Sandbox, which is only interesting to Chile.
NFTs are gaining popularity
The poll looked at how interested people are in NFTs in general and which NFT collections each area is interested in. This section was judged based on how many times “NFT” was searched for each month per 1 million people.
Singapore was the country that searched for NFTs the most each month, with 18,717 searches. Hong Kong and Canada come next, with 15,213 and 12,358 searches, respectively, after Singapore.
The United States is sixth on the list, with 10,677 searches per month for “NFT.”
Sympathy for NFTs
The research used Twitter comments to find out where NFTs are most popular.
According to the results, Poland is the most anti-NFT country, with more than a quarter (22.7%) of all negative Tweets about NFT coming from that country. Behind Poland, Nicaragua and Belize come in second and third, respectively.
When it comes to NFT enthusiasm, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Luxembourg are the top three countries.
