Noah Davis, the man in charge of bringing the famous auction for Beeple’s Everyday: The First 5000 Days to Christie’s, will be enlisting Yuga Labs as the Brand Lead for CryptoPunks. The statement appeared from a set of tweets from Davis and Yuga Labs Co-producer Greg Solano aka Gargamel.
Noah Davis announced a tweet thread about his recent position came yesterday, Sunday, June 19th. In the first tweet, Davis notes that he will quit his recent situation with Christie’s in July.
Considerably, the announcement is the first actual growth with the CryptoPunks collection since Yuga Labs purchased it from Larva Labs back in March of this year. Yuga Labs gave prominence back then that it would adopt a prudent technique to dealing with the CryptoPunks. Of course, the Bored Ape producers did soon give Punk owners full commercial privileges over their NFTs. Other than that, things have been relatively peaceful regarding the CryptoPunks.
Given that, it appears as no shock that a majority of the messaging from both Davis and Solano concentrated on Yuga Labs’ proceeded action not to create any actions that might disturb Punk owners.
The news around Yuga Labs’ latest employment was joined with largely optimistic and congratulatory answers from CryptoPunks owners on Twitter. With that said, there were some disappointed population partners. Precisely, there were charges of insider trading going on around the statement.
