Binance Labs has put money into Tatsumeeko, a growing RPG game on Discord.
Binance Labs, Binance’s startup financing and accelerator arm, announced on June 9 that it would sponsor the immersive and quickly growing in popularity MMORPG-lite game set in a modern fantasy world. Binance Labs was one of many investors in the US $7.5 million seed round, which was led by DeFiance Capital, Delphi Digital, and BITKRAFT Ventures and also included DeFiance Capital, Delphi Digital, and BITKRAFT Ventures. Among the investors were Animoca Brands, Dialectic, Mechanism Capital, Folius Ventures, Big Brain Holdings, Coinhako, and GuildFi, all of which are big names in the cryptocurrency world.
Mia Mai, Portfolio Manager at Binance Labs, says, “Tatsumeeko has shown that they know what they’re doing and have kept their community growing and their products improving.” “Binance Labs is thrilled to be working with the team as they grow the game and improve how it works. “We think that Tatsumeeko could help bring Web3 games to the public’s attention.”
Tatsumeeko will use the extra money to keep working on the MMORPG-lite experience, which will eventually be available on Ethereum and Solana.
