” currently, museums and cultural areas are being eradicated by weapons,” announced the President of the Blockchain Association of Ukraine
AUSTIN, Texas — Amid the obvious and current threat of Russia’s military eradicating Ukraine’s architectural wonders, museums and other cultural areas, Ukraine plan schemes to digitize “every single part of art or history” it can, declared openly Michael Chobanian, President of the Blockchain Association of Ukraine, at peace 2022 on Saturday.
“Today we are declaring openly a new program on how we can protect the DNA of the Ukrainian people, Ukrainian civilization and Ukrainian history,” Chobanian announced. “Currently, they are attacking museums, churches, and cultural locations. So before they are damaged. we’re going to digitize every sole part of art or history that we have in museums. We’re going to NFT it and settle it on the blockchain,” Chobanian explained.
Nonetheless, the program is not a state industry, but relatively an action by Ukraine’s blockchain society.
NEAR Protocol’s founder, Illia Polosukhin, who was also on stage, indicated later that NEAR will be the first blockchain collaborator of the program.
