Binance, the best blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider in the world, has gotten regulatory approval in Italy by registering as a Cryptocurrency Service Provider with the “Organizzo Agenti e Mediatori” (OAM), as required by Italian crypto-asset law.
The recent registration of Binance Italy, the Group’s legal entity in the country, means that the company can now sell crypto goods to its customers in Italy. This shows how important it is for Binance to follow local cryptocurrency rules. The permission from the Italian government is a big step forward for Binance’s plan to grow in Italy. It will allow the company to build more offices and hire more people there.
Zhao Changpeng “CZ, co-founder and CEO of Binance, said, “Cryptocurrencies need clear and effective regulation for everyone to use them.” We appreciate what the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the OAM have done to set up and enforce the rules for doing business openly in Italy. Binance has always put its users first, and thanks to things like the register, they can be sure that our platform is one of the safest and most reliable in the world.”
Binance just got licenses in Bahrain and Dubai, and in early May 2022, the AMF in France will register it as a “Digital Asset Service Provider.”
